Norwood has partnered with Horizons Greater Washington since 2010 to host Horizons students during the summer and on select Saturdays during the school year. This past summer, 110 students in grades 1-9 spent six weeks at Norwood working on academic skills including reading, math, art, coding, and Maker Space projects; went on 26 field trips; took a total of 1,980 swimming lessons; and enjoyed countless hours of enriching summer fun.
At the Walkathon, you'll get to learn about Horizons from Norwood teachers, alumni, and students who have worked in the program while raising funds to support their work.
